Dr. Jayakumari J.

Dr. Jayakumari J is presently working as Dean(Post Graduate studies and Research) and International Liaison Officer, Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology(Autonomous), Nalanchira, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. She obtained B.E ECE from M.S. University, Tirunelveli in 1994, M.Tech Applied Electronics and Instrumentation in 1998 and PhD ECE in 2009 from Kerala University. She has teaching experience of more than 29 years, administrative experience of 21 years and research experience of 21 years. She has produced 13 Ph.Ds and presently guiding 5 scholars. Her major areas of research interest include Wireless communication, coding techniques, signal and Image processing. She has published 107 papers in International Journals and Conferences. She is a Senior member of IEEE, Fellow of IETE, Institution of Engineers(India) and Council of Engineering and Technology India, Chartered Engineer of Institution of Engineers(India) and Academic Council member, Council of Engineering and Technology India. She has served as Chair,
IEEE India Council Circuits and Systems Society Chapter from 2016 to 2019. She has organized many International Conferences in association with IEEE and Springer as publication partner and has participated in International Conferences organized abroad as
author, session chair and also delivered invited talks and also serving as Reviewer in many SCIE indexed Journals including IEEE journals.
