Electrical & Electronics Engineering
The department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was established in 2002. We currently have about 400 students, 30 faculty members, 11 supporting staff members and 2 post-doctoral fellows with us. The department runs under graduate programmes and post-graduate programmes to cater to the ever challenging needs of technical excellence in all areas of electrical and electronics engineering such as Integrated electronics and circuits, Tele-communications, Computer technology, Control & Automation, Power systems & Power electronics.
The infrastructure and lab facilities are upgraded from time to time and provide adequate opportunities for students to learn and innovate. Our students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they progress through the program. They also gain practical experience by working and experimenting in the highly equipped Workshops and Laboratories of the Department.
