The “Vision Beyond the Sight” AI Expo and Interactive Session, organized on 17 December 2025 by the Kerala Federation of the Blind Youth Forum in association with RCG Foundation and Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, was successfully conducted as part of World Disability Day observance. The programme aimed to sensitize engineering students to the technological needs and challenges of persons with visual impairment and to inspire inclusive innovation. The AI Expo and Assistive Technology Exhibition held at the Amenity Centre showcased various assistive devices, applications, and accessibility tools, highlighting their possibilities and limitations. This was followed by an interactive session at Senatus Hall with selected students which encouraged open discussions, idea sharing, and user-centric problem-solving. 51 members attended the interactive session. The event effectively promoted awareness, social inclusion, and the practical development of Assistive Technologies, making it beneficial for both students and the visually challenged community.
