Centre for Continuing Education
With an aim to promote Continuing Education Programs and Industrial Consultancies, the Centre conducts Training Programs, Add-On Courses and workshops for students and Graduate Engineers.
Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell
Educating and training students for developing entrepreneurial capabilities through positive training interventions is the core strategy of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell. The cell aims to boost innovative ideas and creativity.
Quality Assurance Cell
The QA cell aims to enhance existing provisions for continuous improvement in the quality of our academic system. The cell develops long term and short term strategic plans for institutional growth in the areas of Teaching and Learning, Research, Infrastructural Facilities, Governance & Administration, Human Resource Development and Community Relationship, benchmarking with institutions of National/International reputation. The activities of the Cell are coordinated by the Principal.
Extending its reach to the surrounding society, Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) has started a Consultancy Wing, engaging a senior professor at its helm. The Centre is acting as Consultant to various Government and Private Organizations carrying out Design, Testing, Survey and other related projects.
Energy Audit Cell
Energy Audit Cell aims to take-up Projects and Consultancy in energy related areas. It seeks to find out methods to reduce the energy consumption. The Cell encourages the use of more ‘Green Energy’ and limit the use of fossil fuels.
The College is pursuing the status of “Dassault Systemes Academic Partner” as a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Centre of Excellence. Such an initiative is first of its kind in Kerala. MBCET is the only institution to have a tie-up with Dassault Systemes, providing world class training programme in CATIA. The certificates are issued by the Dassault Systemes.
